A tender, mumblecore comedy revealing the reciprocity of friendship under the same roof. Utilities follows Claire and her post-college besties, Grace and Phoebe. The trio can’t make rent, so they sneak newcomer Jenna in as a fourth roommate. When Jenna’s arrival upends routine, the women are forced to confront both new and existing truths. They stand at the crossroads of give and take, where worries feel real and choices feel definitive. This play illuminates the anxious mind and the cost of friendship—connecting with audiences all too familiar with the uncertainty of forever bonds.
